I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Averett University, where I received my Master’s in Administration and Leadership.

The 2025-2026 school year will mark my third year serving as principal of Woolridge Elementary. Prior to stepping into my role as principal, I proudly served as assistant principal, math title I teacher and classroom teacher all within CCPS.

In addition to my role as an educator, I am also a proud wife and mother. I have lived in Chesterfield County my entire life and attended Chesterfield County Public Schools for elementary, middle and high school. My husband Shawn and I have three boys – Tyler, Jack and Brett. On the weekends and over the summer, you’ll find us traveling in our camper and cheering our boys on the sidelines at baseball and basketball. I am honored to serve the Woolridge community!

I  grew up in a small town in Connecticut and moved to Chesterfield, Virginia in 2003.   I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western CT University, and a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Western Governors University. I have worked as an instructional designer, a Title I intervention teacher and a classroom teacher. During my free time, I enjoy going to shows on Broadway, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a great school year. I cannot wait to partner with students, families, and the community to continue the tradition of excellence at Woolridge Elementary!
