Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
Overview
FBLA is a program that focuses on activities in areas of service, education, and leadership. FBLA Middle School provides an opportunity for members to explore a range of career skills as well as project-based learning experiences tied to a Business Education Program. In FBLA Middle School, members will identify problems and solutions to begin developing business skills.
Highlights
FBLA has a "Middle School Champion Charter" which is a set of membership recruitment and engagement-focused challenges that chapters may complete for national recognition, such as ribbons, plaques, and digital certificates, based on the number of points accumulated.
FBLA members will also have an opportunity to compete in competitive events that can include objective tests, performance events, and case study events.
Volunteering and fundraising will also be a part of FBLA to support the school and community.
Time Commitment
Meeting once a month for one hour after school.
Volunteering hours may vary.
Future potential for competitive events and conferences on local, state, and national level with varying times.
How to Sign Up
FBLA will be introduced toward the beginning of the school year to students in Mr. Ruck's classes as it is co-curricular.
